Working with the BCFA, Rugby Town Football Futures Program
The Aim of the Football Futures Program
Rugby Town will be working with the BCFA in supporting young volunteers from the age of 14 to 22. Young leaders in the club will gain valuable experience and knowledge in there chosen sport of football, through volunteering.
Activities that Young Leaders will be involved in
There are 6 areas for the young leaders to volunteer and gain experience in.
These are:
• Coaching & Working with teams
• Refereeing
• Running Events
• Running and developing the game
• Promoting the game
• Respect
What do the volunteers get out of it?
As young leaders log there hours and attend Rugby Town specially set up events and evenings to help them. Young leaders will gain rewards such as, t-shirts, hoodies, certificates etc that can be used later when looking for employment or further education.
Young leaders can also be nominated to the BCFA Aspire 2 program, and other offers giving you access to activities and opportunities with the BCFA and National Football Camps.
