Hello and welcome all old and new players to the 2010/11 season. As teams put there final preparations in place for the coming season, Kilsby Lane is ready with its great playing facility for the big kick off.

A New Community Club Emblem, New Look Web Site, New Kit, New Players, New Newsletter, lots to look forward to over the season for the 35 teams of Rugby Town Community Club, male and female.

We would like more input from you to make this newsletter work for Coaches, Players and Parents, so if you have any news please complete the web site forms with information. It may be a new sponsor or special event that we can market to over 5000 visitors on the web site each month or direct to 400 members via the news letter.

The roller coaster ride is about to start for the season. Players and teams will have up and downs, the club supports every one all the way through the season, show your support to the members. Rugby Town is proud to be a Community Club and wish all its members the best for the season ahead.

The annual Spooner Cup, put the work completed at Kilsby Lane through out the summer to a test and a great day for all players and spectators was had. Next up is the opening week end of the facility for the 10/11 season with the visit of Rushden & Diamonds Centre of Excellence, then the Town Ladies kick off there season at regional league level against Leamington LFC on the Sunday, full details below for all the games. Great to get support down for the teams at the opening week end of the season and through out.

Rugby Town MJPFL U16 v Rushden & Diamonds U16
The game kicks off at 12.30pm, which follows the game between the U15's from both clubs at 10.30am

Sunday 5th September.
Rugby Town Ladies FC v Leamington Lions LFC
2pm kick off, before the girls under 18s kick off at 10.30am

A reminder, Kilsby Lane operate a No Dogs Allowed On Site policy. Bins are provided for all rubbish, thank you in helping the club enforce this during the season and keep your place safe and clean, see a problem? report it!

Parking at Kilsby Lane
Due to various issues around the Car Parking at the site it is important that cars fill up from the bottom upwards. Managers Coaches and Parents should ask anybody that they see parking at the top of the site to move down. As games will be AM / PM this year there wont be as much traffic as it will be balanced out.

Rugby Town runs the FA respect program, the club have County FA and club welfare officers at games during the season to ensure home and away supporters respect the members and officials in games and the facilities.
